POLATI assembles volumetric, suspended, cantilever, facade scaffolding, including inside tanks and shafts. The structures are installed for repair works, welding, assembly of metal structures, installation of working equipment, bricklaying. Works are complicated by external factors such as: difficult climatic conditions, cramped site. Installers are provided with suitable personal protective equipment that meets the climatic conditions and does not constrain their movements during work. Thanks to this, POLATI performs the work qualitatively and within the time required by the Customer.
Nornickel is the leader in the Russian mining and metals industry, as well as the largest producer of palladium and refined nickel and one of the largest producers of platinum and copper. Nornickel also produces cobalt, rhodium, silver, gold, iridium, ruthenium, selenium, tellurium and sulphur. Construction of a sulphur dioxide utilization complex at Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant (Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant). To reduce sulphur dioxide emissions from existing metallurgical processes to the maximum extent possible, the Polar Division is implementing a comprehensive program to upgrade the production facilities of the Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant and the Copper Plant in Norilsk - the Sulphur Program. This is Nornickel's largest environmental undertaking, which has no analogues in the world. The program involves partial reconfiguration of metallurgical production and construction of sulphur dioxide utilization facilities with the necessary infrastructure. The program activities are part of the federal project Clean Air and are its largest component.
