The Radisson Collection Hotel is one of the most recognizable buildings in Moscow, built in 1957. At the time of its opening, it was the tallest building in Europe — 198 meters, including the spire.

The scaffolding installation work was carried out for the purpose of restoring the hotel's spire. SOYUZ company scaffolding was used for the project implementation.

 

 The main challenges of the project were design, logistics of material lifting, limited storage capabilities on site, and installation at great height. Work was carried out at levels above 100 meters, with the main structures installed at 116 meters, on special transition bridges, creating an effect of "floating" scaffolding. The maximum working level was 160 meters. 

 

Installation under such conditions required a high level of staff training, precision, and compliance with occupational health and safety rules.


At the preparation stage, designers carried out extensive and precise work to ensure the reliability and safety of the scaffolding at such a height.


The project became an example of high-class engineering approach and the professionalism of the installers, combining technical complexity and the historical value of the facility.
