Due to gas and condensate production, the reservoir pressure of the Lunskoye field
will fall below the level required to maintain a pressure > 86.5 bar at the inlet
to the Joule-Thomson valve. A booster compressor station (BCS) is planned to compensate for the decrease in reservoir pressure.

energy-saving technologies.

The site included integration of the under-construction BLS with the OPF, works on concreting of foundations, installation of steel structures and equipment, works on installation of equipment in the power complex, and application of fireproof coating.
POLATI Company carried out works at the BLS plant. The scaffolding at this stage was built to connect the operating plant with the booster compressor station. As BLS has a concentration of hydrocarbon and may exceed the permissible standard, any spark, fire and static voltage may cause an explosion. Therefore, in order to avoid fires, work is allowed without cell phones, watches and any other flammable objects. Thanks to the professionalism of our installers and craftsmen, the work was ahead of schedule.
Our company also performed insulation work at the site.
November 2022 was extremely busy at the project. On December 7, it was planned to launch gas along the contour of the first two lines and the gas flare. On December 21, a ceremonial lighting of the gas flare was expected in the presence of the customer's supervisors and representatives of Gazprom, the Governor of Sakhalin Island and correspondents from federal TV companies. Sakhalin Island Governor and correspondents of federal TV companies. In this regard, POLATI staff resumed working in two shifts to provide scaffolding structures to adjacent organizations at the necessary positions to complete the work on time and make the site look good before the ceremony. At this time of year, the northern part of Sakhalin Island is receiving water from the Sea of Okhotsk. Cyclones arrive from the Sea of Okhotsk to the northern part of Sakhalin Island at this time of year. The weather deteriorates sharply (wet snow, strong wind gusts). Before launching gas on the lines ready for operation, all employees of our company have been retrained (instructed) on working in high hazard areas, near pressurized pipelines, operating equipment, and energized lines. The IT staff has been retrained to issue authorization orders in electronic form (customer's requirement for the commissioning and operation zone).
On December 9, hydrocarbons (gas) were launched on the first two construction lines. The flare column, turbines of the first two compressors were tested and put into operation. The start-up and testing of the equipment was carried out without any remarks.
