POLATI personnel carried out a range of scaffolding erection and dismantling works as part of restoration and engineering operations. Installation work was carried out in a space with protected architectural elements, under conditions of limited access and complex architectural geometry, in accordance with the design documentation.
The high level of accuracy in installing temporary structures allowed other contractors to safely and efficiently conduct restoration, engineering, and finishing works.

 The project was restored on the initiative of the V-A-C Foundation, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano. The facility has cultural heritage status.

The building of the former early 20th-century city power station, GES-2, was reconstructed and reimagined as the V-A-C Foundation House of Culture — a new space for contemporary art, open to the public.
